Today I dined at Chatkara Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome. I ordered the lamb bhuna with garlic naan and a Coca-Cola, and all of this was priced under 12 pounds, which is incredibly reasonable. The lamb bhuna was exceptionally well-cooked and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices that enhanced the taste without overpowering the dish. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and perfectly complemented the rich flavors of the lamb. I’ve tried multiple Desi restaurants where I ended up paying double or even triple the amount for what was supposed to be a good experience, but none of them came close to the quality and value offered by Chatkara. The food here is excellent. Super filling and very tasty. I got the ginger chicken with butter nan which was perfect. Lunch here is very nice and easy to get. Service is excellent and was very quick. Food was excellent value for the price!
Amazing authentic halal Indian food. So good! The best tandoori chicken rice and Mango Lassi I’ve tasted in a while. Must go if you love south Indian food
Went here after an event at Corsica. We were so hungry and they served us so quickly. Amir & Ali the two brothers are so friendly and pleasant and the food was delicious, large portions and very reasonably priced. It was honestly such a lovely experience, truly served us food with a smile. They also gave us all the poppadoms and salad without us asking, such a nice touch! Thank you, we'll be back!
Very busy however, their service is pretty good. Noise levels are >>>>> but still its all worth it for such delicious food. Minus 1 ⭐ because there is way too much oil that we had to separate with a spoon , i hope they consider this as their food is so flavourful that it doesn’t have to be covered in oil unlike other restaurants who believe adding more oil equates to more flavour. Forgot to take pictures at the start lol Most certainly will be back for more x
